Prayer Breakfast

July’s Prayer Breakfast will take place on Saturday 4th July at 8:30 in St James lounge. Our guest speaker will be Harold Hoggarth who is a volunteer speaker on behalf of the bible society. The title of his talk will be “A Night to Remember” a visit to the cinema that changed my life.

St James will be holding it’s monthly Prayer Breakfast on Saturday 2nd May at 8:30 in the church lounge. The guest speaker this month will be Hazel James who will be speaking to us about Libby Lane’s Consecration earlier this year. Please come and support Hazel as she speaks about what was an historic event.

Interfaith Walk

This important event will take place on Saturday 11th April. This is the programme for the day:

10:00 am Assemble at Lammack Church- Light refreshments will be available

10:30 am Reading of an agreed statement and commencement of walk

11:00 am Revidge Fold URC- meet welcoming group

11:45 am Masjid Tauheedule-meet welcoming group. Light lunch and observe 12:30 prayer

13:15 pm Masjid Al-Hidayha- meet welcoming group

14:00 pm St James’ C of E – meet welcoming group. Rest and light refreshments

15:00 pm Lammack Church

Prayer Breakfast

St James next Prayer Breakfast will be on Saturday 7th March at 8:30 am when our guest speaker will be Geoffrey Peddie. The title of his talk is “More Stories to Tell” in which he will reflect on encounters and significant occasions. If you still haven’t been able to come to one of our Breakfasts please don’t think it is too late. Everybody is welcome whether you are a regular or a first time visitor.

Prayer Breakfast

On the first Saturday of every month St James’ Church are holding a Prayer Breakfast in the church lounge . This is a wonderful opportunity to spend time together enjoying food and fellowship. Each month a guest speaker is invited to share with us interesting stories from their life. This is followed by a short time of prayer. Reg Smith is to be our speaker on the 7th February so please do come and support him whilst enjoying your bacon and eggs.
